Dam Inspection
VANEX are offering inspections regulated by the “QUEBEC LOI SUR LES BARRAGES” on dams Class C, D & E in order to prevent security concerns. We ensure that both civil structure and mechanical equipments are in acceptable condition and safe to use for normal operation. Following are some of the offered services:

- Maintenance of the mechanical equipment
- Equipments upgrade
We can also inspect the submerged structure of the dam using our ROV equipped with a high definition video camera and a robotic clamp in order to:
- Ensure of the structural integrity of the dam (cracks, excessive corrosion, erosion, …)
- Ensure that the dam upstream is free of debris that may interfere with the proper operation of the water control equipment
- Inspection of the water control sealing system
- Leakage detection
- Pipe inspection
